Thank you for stopping by 👏 It has been roughly two months since I officially started this new venture. It is important for me going into this that I had a solid plan around what exactly I hoped to get out of all of this. I wrote it down early and I am sharing it now:

What is this venture?
Originally I thought I would use this as a platform to focus all of my energy simply making games. Now, after exploring some of the web app ideas I have and seeing them in action, I feel better about this as an all around digital experience production. After years of database experience, combing through documentation, grinding in Python, and Visual Analytics I finally felt confident enough to focus less on the what others tell me TO DO and focus more on what CAN I DO.
Who am I?
I am Eli. A Husband and a Father, I put a lot of pressure on myself to ensure I am doing everything I can for those I love. Behind all of that is a nerdy obsession with games, data, and new exciting things.
I have always loved puzzles and putting things together. A lot of that stems from the Lego sets I built as a kid and continue to build as an adult! The satisfaction I get when something is “complete” is part of why I am embarking on this venture. I hope to achieve that same level of satisfaction from the games and web experiences I plan to work on.
Why now?
Like everyone else I have seen how AI has begun to really change the future of everything. Every year it seems to get more and more prevalent in my life. Rather than fight it I want to see what I can do with it. This clip from Star Trek really sums up my feelings around AI as a whole.
To that end, AI has helped me immeasurably when I think of the number of times I would have simply given up on a task without a potential next step or suggestion. This is my next step and I am thankful to have real friends and family to support me along with these new AI tools. Can any of this be turned into something purposeful? Follow along to find out.
